Christmas cheers
Christmas is all about Love, Kindness, giving and in Africa it’s also about a bountiful meal with family, it’s a season that every child should experience but this is not often for most Deaf children ,this is because it happen at home where most of family members do not know how to communicate in sign language and to most deaf children they feel isolated from the whole experience ,Deaf Schools gives Deaf children a family ,where they create life long memories and friend because of shared language and experience
It’s for this reason that we would want to have an early Deaf kind of Christmas with St Luke’s school for the Deaf in early November and inscribe the Christmas love to its 150 Deaf children.
