Thousands of Deaf learners lack accessible sign language platforms for education and health
Deaf Outreach Program is transforming learning and health outcomes for the Deaf community through sign language-accessible content and technologies focused on education and reproductive health.
We do this because we believe Deaf education matters and that every Deaf learner deserves an equitable foundation in education and health as essential pillars for personal growth, community well-being, and sustainable livelihoods.
Because Deaf Education Matters
ABOUT US
Deaf Outreach Program (DEAFOP) is a Kenyan non-governmental organization committed to mainstreaming Deaf and Disability rights in development through sign language-accessible technologies that improve access to education and reproductive health information for the Deaf community.
We believe that when access is created, human potential is unlocked and our role is to catalyze change by turning barriers into bridges.
