Our initiative centers on bolstering rural community organizations to empower Persons with Disabilities (PWD). This program not only encompasses various disability categories but also encourages the active participation of caregivers of children and adults with disabilities. To achieve this, we foster the creation of community reference support groups. These groups are uniquely designed to embrace a model of total integration, with a strong emphasis on physical proximity and shared experiences. Most often, these groups manifest as self-help collectives based in communal locations, facilitating face-to-face interactions and meaningful engagement.

As an organization we don’t take ownership of this community grouping but instead we strengthen them for independent advocacy work for income generating activity and income.
